Queen of Hills Mussoorie – A city in the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand, located in the Dehradun District. Kempty Fall
Kempty Falls is only about 15 kilometers away from Mussoorie. It is surrounded by forests. The Kempty waterfalls descend from an elevation of 4,500 feet and form five different falls of 40 feet each at this location. During British times, tea parties were held at this location. As a result, the name Camp-tea became known as Kempty. From March through July, the waterfalls are available to visitors.
Mussoorie Lake
The most recent Mussoorie Lake is situated on Dehradun Road. The distance between Mussoorie Lake and the town of Mussoorie is about 6 kilometers. The city council and the Mussoorie-Dehradun Development Authority created this lake. It is a favorite picnic spot for both residents and visitors. The area is also popular for its pedal boating.
Gun Hill
Gun Hill is the city’s second-highest peak. The summit is located at an elevation of 2122 meters above sea level.
