Things to Consider Before Planning:

    Please note that Ganga Valley Adventure Rishikesh does not provide insurance covering accidents, sickness, theft, or other incidents. Visitors are advised to arrange insurance independently.

    Personal belongings such as cash, electronics, and valuables are solely at the client’s risk.

    To avoid traffic congestion on the Tapovan to Shivpuri Road, we recommend starting your rafting adventure early, preferably around 7 or 8 am.

Essential Guidelines:

    Attire: Bulky clothing, sarees, neckties, long skirts, suits, and similar attire are prohibited. We suggest wearing shorts, synthetic T-shirts, floaters/sandals, sunglasses, and sunscreen lotion with strings.

    Cost Adjustments: Please note that the reduction in the number of persons will not affect the total package cost.

    Security Measures: For your safety, we advise against carrying jewelry and valuables. Upon arrival, visitors are required to sign a disclaimer/liability waiver form and carry proof of identity.

Nearest Railway Station: Haridwar Railway Station, positioned 26 km and Rishikesh Yog Nagari 4 km from the Rishikesh Ganga Valley adventure office, is the closest railway station. Travelers can hire either a taxi or a shared vehicle from the station to reach their destination.

Travelers can reach the Rishikesh Ganga Valley adventure office, from where they will be transferred to the rafting starting location. After the rafting activity concludes, travelers will be transferred back to Ram Jhula. Both private and public transportation options are available to reach the spot.

Q1: Is there a minimum age requirement to participate in river rafting in Rishikesh?
A1: Anyone can enjoy river rafting in Rishikesh, including family and friends. But you’ll need enough upper arm and shoulder strength to properly appreciate the journey. Fitness and Health Requirements Rafting is only permitted for those who are at least 14 years old and under 60 years old, are in good physical and mental health, are not currently receiving medical treatment, and are free from conditions such as high blood pressure, asthma, epilepsy, heart conditions, pregnancy, and osteoporosis. Rafting is prohibited and is only permitted if a life jacket fits anyone who weighs more than 100 kg.

A7: There are lots of things to see and do in Rishikesh, which is a fantastic tourist destination. However, the best times to travel for river rafting are from the end of September to the middle of December and from the end of mid-February to the middle of June During these two times, the weather is ideal for anyone looking for adventure.

1: Fitness and Health Requirements Rafting is only available to people over the age of 14 and under the age of 60 who are physically and mentally fit. People with back or neck injuries, recent fractures, any dislocation, high blood pressure, asthma, neurological disorders, epilepsy, heart conditions, pregnancy, and osteoporosis are not permitted. Rafting is not permitted, and individuals weighing more than 100 kg are not permitted unless a life jacket is used.
2: Rafting expedition based only on the current water level. The water level is rather high in June.
3: River Rafting Shared Basis & No Individual Raft Less Than 8 People, Per Raft 8 Guests & One Guide & Helper
4: All-Class Rafting Equipment (Rafts, Life-Jackets, Helmets, Paddle, Dry bags, Throw Bag).
5: Skilled River Guides The Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board has given its approval. Rafting participants must always follow the advice of the guide.
6. River running licenses are provided by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board-Department of Tourism, Government of Uttarakhand.
7: If the number of people is reduced, the total cost of the package will not be altered.
8. Full and final payments will be made before the trip.
9. All activities are subject to weather, traffic, and barriers, among other things.
10. Bulky clothing, shares, ties, long skirts, suits, Chunri, and other similar attire are not authorized. Shorts, synthetic T-shirts, floaters or sandals, sunglasses, and sunscreen lotion with strings are all advised.
11: Anyone found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, medically or physically unfit (any major disease, weak heart conditions, epilepsy, asthma, expecting mothers, etc), or unfit for any reason/s in the wisdom of the river, guide/instructor will not be permitted to participate in the rafting trip or any other adventurous activities will be denied participation. In such cases, requests for a refund or a discount will be denied. The river guide/decision management in this regard would be final.
12: The government has prohibited all raft boats and firms from operating without a license and a professional guide.
13: *GST is an additional 18%.
14: Rafting Entry INR 20/- Per Person GNR (Rafting Management Organization).
