Lacchiwala is another favorite site for nature enthusiasts, where they can sit and watch a tranquil sunset while surrounded by thick foliage. If you’re interested, Lacchiwala can also arrange for hiking and birding.

How to get there: It is well connected by road, rail, and air. The nearest airport, Jolly Grant, is about 20 kilometers away.

Sahatsradhara
The name Sahatsradhara means “thousand springs” in Sanskrit. Previously, it was a modest tranquil picnic place in Dehradun. However, it is currently establishing itself as an independent tourism destination. A serene and quiet location to appreciate away from the hectic crowds of the city. Dehradun is 12 kilometers away.
How to get there: Dehradun is well accessible by road. There are regular bus services available. The weather is mild all year. About the location: This is a modest yet lovely natural setting. You can spend the weekend listening to the river and the breeze.
Location: 22 kilometers from Dehradun on the Haridwar road.
How to get there: Dehradun is well linked by road. The nearest railhead is Doiwala, which is only 2 kilometers away. There are regular bus services available.
 The climate is mild all year. October to May is the best time to visit. Light cotton in the summer and light woolen in the winter.
 A camera, flashlight, and swimming suit are required items.
Foods are standard.
Accommodation: Forest guest home, GMVN tourist lodge,hotels,homestay, and different price range private hotels in Dehradun or Rishikesh.

Motichur is part of the Rajaji National Park, which is located near Haridwar. Elephants, spotted deer, and other wild species are well-known.
Location: About 10 kilometers from Haridwar and 12 kilometers from Rishikesh. On the NH58 national highway. The town of Motichur has a train station. There are public bus services available.
