The peak of the Tungnath is called Chandrasila. It denotes "Moon Rock." At a height of around 4,100 meters above sea level, it is situated. Views of the Himalayas, including Nanda Devi, Trisul, Kedar Mountain, Bandar Punch, and Chaukhamba peaks, are available from this peak.

Package Itinerary

Day 1 - Rishikesh to Chopta (175kms 6hour drive)
Morning drive to Chopta via Devaprayag, Rudraprayag, and Ukhimath. Arrive in Chopta and check in at Hotel/Camp/Homestay. Dinner & Overnight stay in Camp or Home stay.

Day 2 - Chopta to Tungnath Chandrasila Back Chopta (6kms Trek one side)
The morning after breakfast drive & Trek. Evening back to your stay location Dinner & Overnight stay in Camp or Home stay/Hotel.

Highlights:- 1st drive from your stay destination to Tungnath trekking point. Then the Trek start at 3.5kms from Tungnath Ji temple and more trek 1.5kms from Chandrasill on one side. Total trekking approx 5kms on one side and complete both sides 10kms trekking. Evening back to your stay destination.

Day 3 - Chopta to Rishikesh (175kms 6hours drive)
The morning after breakfast drive to Rishikesh via Ukhimath, Rudraprayag, and Devprayag, Arrive in Rishikesh - Tour End
