GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR CAMP & RESORT

1. We want visitors to Rishikesh Camping to realise that it is adventure tourism, not luxury tourism. As a result, before making travel plans, consider the following.

3. Each of the packages featured on the website contains images of the specific resort, camp, and activities. There may be a little variation if the resort or campsite itself has been improved.

4. The bulk of camps (30%) are located along branch river banks, 60% are located in hill and village regions, and 10% are located near the Ganga River camp, which is located between 200 and 800 meters from the river. The water levels of both rivers change often throughout the year due to summers or monsoons.

5. There is a lot of information on camping and rafting in Rishikesh, but it is hard to remember everything over the phone. As a result, guests are strongly advised to carefully read mail discussions for information on general camp regulations and norms or to read the whole description of the camp they are considering on our website.

6. Transportation is additional. If you do not have transportation, you must pay to and from Rishikesh and Camps. Rishikesh and other places provide bike rental options.

7. There will be no pickup from resorts or camps for the Rafting Activity. Visitors are asked to report to the Rafting meeting point address whether their campsite is in Kaudiyala, Bairaghar, Gular, Mohan Chatti or Gattu Ghat, etc. Rafting pickup is from the office or another location.

8. The overall cost of the package will not change if the number of persons is reduced in any manner. There will be no refunds for no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures. There will be no penalty if you do not show up or skip a meal.

9. Visitors are encouraged to pack light because they will be expected to carry their own stuff down and up from the Resort or Camp. Jewelry and valuables should not be carried.

10. The Resort or Camp amenities are only available to resident guests. Drivers must make their own boarding and accommodation arrangements.

12. Weapons, drugs, and weapons are not authorised, and none may be carried.

13. No loud dancing music is allowed in any campsites, resorts, or cottages. From 7 p.m. until 10 p.m., only quiet music may be played during nighttime bonfires. Only a limited percentage of the campgrounds listed on the internet have a soundproof space where slow dance music can be played from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Note: – On the morning of departure, after breakfast, and no later than 10 a.m. Early check-in is subject to space availability and on-site payment for extra meals. A one-night reservation ensures an early check-in.

15. The execution and completion of all activities listed in the 24-hour package are entirely dependent on the guests’ punctual preparedness.

16. Nobody is allowed to approach the Ganga or its tributaries at night. Swimming in the Ganga is not permitted if you go on your own.

17. Each camp or resort group would receive one or two bonfires.

18. All activities are dependent on the weather.

19. Under normal circumstances, we undertake to exclusively deliver material from the package selected by the website user. We are not responsible for fare refunds if a route is closed due to traffic congestion, a land obstacle, a storm, or another natural calamity. We shall not be held liable if a passenger decides to proceed independently in such a situation.

20. Cash, a phone, a camera, a watch, liquor, or other valuables are not the responsibility of Ganga Valley Adventure Tour & Travels Rishikesh or Camping employees, management, or owner.

21. The Ganga Valley Adventure Tour & Travels Rishikesh or Camping staff, management, or owner do not offer insurance coverage for charges linked with accidents, sickness, theft-related losses, or other conditions. Visitors are strongly advised to hunt for such insurance policies on their own. Personal belongings and luggage Cash, a phone, a camera, a watch, and any other valuables are always the client’s responsibility.

22. The camp management reserves the right to refuse admission to anybody who behaves suspiciously or threatens other guests, and such behavior will not be tolerated. In these cases, we will not give a refund for any wasted holiday days.

23. Children should not be left alone in the apartments. Children must be constantly monitored by people who are accountable for their well-being and conduct.

24. Camping on a budget means no attached restrooms, power, fans, or air conditioning (Alpine tents). There are communal or community bathrooms on the camp campus.

25. In luxury or deluxe campgrounds, just the most basic facilities are provided, such as adjacent toilets, electricity, fans, or air conditioning (no TV, no exquisite interiors, no room service, etc.)

26. On our website, we provide a variety of campers (tents) with basic conveniences such as attached toilets, air conditioning, charging connections, and standing fans.

27. You may need to trek from the road or parking lot to the campers (the distance varies from 100 to 800 meters). The trekking distance varies from camp to camp (easy/difficult). 28. The months of March, April, May, and June are always particularly busy in Rishikesh. On weekends, there is a lot of traffic in Rishikesh and the neighboring areas due to the continual push. so kindly set out on your journey at a fair time.

29. The government has rendered unlawful all rafting boats and companies that operate without a permit or a professional guide. As a result, fewer boats are needed to satisfy river rafting requirements.

30 Visitors are advised to go rafting early in the morning, around 7 or 8 a.m., to escape the horrendous traffic jam on the Tapovan-Shivpuri Road. Late arrivals for rafting trips have been recorded as being trapped in traffic for many hours.

31. The authorities prohibited all campers on the beaches. Only a few camps (following NGT standards) are operating on the Ganga River Bank near the beaches. See all of our newly opened beach camps on our website.

32. Advance payment is required for reservation at a resort or camp. The amount varies based on the resort or camp, and for 1 to 2-night stays, it might vary between Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 per person.

33. Due to internet connectivity issues in the resort or campsites, the remaining balance must be paid in cash or by online transfer before check-in time. Please bring adequate money with you when you visit the campground.

34. There will be no return if visitors decline to remain in the camps for any personal reason.

35. Ganga Valley Adventure Tour and Travels Rishikesh has connections with numerous of the Rishikesh camping providers represented on the website. The website is responsible for ensuring that the camp, its activities, meals, and so on are supplied in line with the package specified on the website (on the camp page). The website’s primary goal is to demonstrate that “what you see is what you get.”

36. Ganga Valley Adventure Tour & Travel Rishikesh is not responsible for any problems between tourists and other guests, or between the camping staff, manager, or owner of the reserved camp.

37. If the government decides to cease rafting owing to low water levels during the monsoon season, all bookings will be converted to camping and food-only packages, and the rafting cost will be refunded.

38. During the monsoon season, rafting will be available just 10 kilometers from Bharmpuri. Whichever alternative the administration has authorized.

39. Anyone discovered to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, medically or physically unfit (any major sickness, weak heart conditions, epilepsy, asthma, expectant moms, etc.), or unsuitable for any other reason/s in the wisdom of the river, guide, or instructor will not be authorized to participate in the rafting trip or other adventurous activities. Requests for a refund or a discount will not be considered in this scenario. In this instance, the decision of the river guide or management is definitive.

40. Unacceptable apparel items include sarees, neckties, long skirts, suits, and Chunri. Wear shorts, a T-shirt, ideally made of synthetic material, floaters or sandals, sunglasses, and sunscreen lotion with an SPF of 30 or higher.

41. River Rafting, each raft has eight guests and one guide; there are no separate rafts with less than eight persons.

42. All risks to travelers’ lives and/or property during the tour would be their responsibility.

43. Rafting is only authorized for those aged 14 to under 60 who are entirely physically and psychologically well; it is not permitted for anyone who is undergoing treatment, has a fracture, or has any other medical condition.

44. Rafting is not authorized for anyone weighing greater than 100 kg.

45. We will not be responsible for your things such as a phone, camera, watch, etc. while on the rafting excursion.

47. River running permits are issued by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board, a branch of the Uttarakhand government’s tourism department. Experienced river guides have been recognized by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board.

48. Cliff leaping and body surfing are only authorized when rafting, and cliff jumping is only permitted beyond Berhampur, depending on water levels.

49. Every aspect of life is fraught with danger, including harm, permanent injury, and death. Bathing, swimming, and going near the Ganga River or any other river should be avoided; instead, remain away from the camp area and go to the river’s edge.

50. The same campsite and resort had no backup power once the main supply failed. Please keep in mind that if the power goes out, the cottage or room will only have a fan. There is no backup for the AC until the primary electrical supply is maintained.

NOTE: The Government of India requires all Indian and international nationals to display their correct identity upon check-in. Passports with visas, voter identification cards, current driver’s licenses, and Aadhar cards are all accepted forms of identification. A picture must be on every document.
